France Fouquette Director

France first came to Petit lac des Cèdres in 1986, staying at the family cottage of her husband, Paul Gratton. In 1992, France and Paul moved into their own cottage at Petit lac des Cèdres on chemin Champagne and have since enjoyed the beauty of each of the four seasons in this little corner of paradise, with their son Maxime, as well as many friends and family members.

Now retired after a long career in higher education, including nearly 25 years at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, first in communications and then as Director of the Rector's Office, France wishes to become more actively involved by sharing her experience, knowledge and contacts to contribute to the advancement of the various issues led by the APLC. Protecting the environment and preserving the fragile ecosystem of the Cedar lakes and the forest that surrounds them are at the heart of her concerns, so that future generations can also enjoy this jewel of nature where it's so good to live.
