In 2016, the Association mandated an inventory of plants on public lands around Cedar Lake, which revealed a significant presence of Conopholis americana—a plant designated as "vulnerable" in Quebec. This strengthened our argument when we recommended to the provincial government that a protected area be established on these provincially managed public lands.
