The Association offered a training workshop in July 2018 entitled "Understanding and Protecting the Health of Our Lakes". The presentation included information on various topics, including water quality measurement and 10-year results (transparency, chlorophylla, phosphorus and dissolved oxygen), the importance of lake management at the watershed level and issues with invasive alien species such as Eurasian watermilfoil. The two-hour workshop was conducted by Manon Vincelette.

The Association hopes to offer new training workshops in 2019.
