Manon has lived at Little Cedar Lake since 1984, when she moved to Haute-Gatineau for her work as a forestry engineer. After earning a master's degree in international development and cooperation from the University of Ottawa, she worked in various African countries for 28 years, where she met her partner, John.

Now retired and back in Canada, she joined the Board in 2017 to help manage water quality issues and safeguard the territory.
