Our Community

Image

The community surrounding the Cedar lakes is diverse and eclectic. Residents and vacationers come from everywhere to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the countryside. What unites them above all is the desire to protect the environment of our two lakes.

Family stories and legends

Family stories relate important events of the families who have been here for many years. The community is steeped and intertwined in all these stories and legends. They sometimes stop time and seem to be far-fetched, but they weave our relationship with our lakes. Do you have a story or a legend to share? Contact us and we will be happy to publish it in this section.

Would you like a writer to write your family history at the lakes? Contact Paul J. Murray. Paul, a resident of Little Cedar Lake and a history buff, has already heard and written stories from some families who live on the two lakes. He gladly shares them with us all!

Please note that stories and legends will be posted as is, with no edits or translation.
